The Bed & Breakfast

Sancreed House, today a luxury Bed and Breakfast in Penzance, is a stunning Georgian property dating back to the 1820s, lovingly restored and open to guests seeking a peaceful escape. Once a former rectory, Sancreed House offers a choice of luxurious accommodations, including four beautifully appointed en-suites and three charming self-catering garden cottages, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

Set within 1.5 acres of meticulously landscaped gardens, Sancreed House Retreat borders the historic Sancreed Parish Church, with parts of the church dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. On Sunday mornings, guests can enjoy the gentle chime of the church bells as they announce the start of the service, adding to the serene atmosphere of this idyllic location.

Whether you’re looking for a tranquil retreat or a comfortable base to explore the surrounding countryside, Sancreed House Retreat offers the ideal environment for a truly memorable stay.

At Sancreed House, each of our thoughtfully designed rooms is equipped with modern amenities to ensure your comfort and convenience. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, radiators for warmth, a mini-fridge, and a fully private en-suite bathroom. For your added comfort, we provide plush towels, slippers, and bathrobes for every guest, as well as vegan & cruelty-free toiletries.

The grounds of Sancreed House Retreat also feature the charming Sancreed House Cottages, perfect for guests seeking self-catering accommodation.

In addition, you can unwind by our heated swimming pool, which is shared by all guests and heated from May through September. For a full day of wellness, our garden-spa offers sauna & log-heated baths to connect with nature in full luxury. Whether you prefer a full-service stay or a more independent experience, Sancreed House offers the ideal setting for your perfect getaway.

There is convenient shared off-road parking at the front of the property for all guests. Please note that we are a non-smoking establishment, and our accommodation is exclusively for adults. While we love animals and have resident cats on the grounds (but not inside the house), we are unable to accommodate pets during your stay.
