We are open all year long! We do take holidays randomly, but otherwise we’re always ready to greet our guests.

My husband and I have just returned from the most wonderful weekend at the absolutely stunning Sancreed House Retreat, and I can’t praise it highly enough.
From the moment we arrived, Pablo and Grove made us feel so welcome, showing us around their beautiful estate and making sure we had everything we needed.
The house is simply stunning — elegant, stylish and absolutely immaculate. Every room has been so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with gorgeous period furniture and so much character, while still having all the modern comforts you could want. Our room had a beautiful four-poster bed, and although I half expected such a grand old house to be a little chilly, it was wonderfully warm and comfortable throughout.
The attention to detail was exceptional. There was mineral water available for us, a lovely selection of teas and coffees in our room, our own fridge for anything we wanted to keep cool, beautiful natural sea kelp toiletries and soaps, and a wonderful selection of books to browse and enjoy in the lounge. The whole place even smelt amazing! Everything felt as though it had been carefully considered to make guests feel completely at home.
Food was a real highlight. We had a gorgeous dinner platter with a wonderful selection of local cheeses and Pablo’s homemade pâté. Even breakfast felt special — almost like a three-course breakfast — with homemade granola and freshly ground coffee that we loved so much we bought some to take home! So much of the food was locally sourced, organic and homemade, which made it feel even more special.
Pablo and Grove were incredibly attentive but never intrusive. You can tell that they genuinely love looking after their guests. I was actually there as a competition winner, and yet we were treated like absolute VIPs and completely spoiled from start to finish. Their warmth and generosity really made the weekend.
The location is wonderful too. There are beautiful walks just five minutes from the house, and we were able to walk to Sancreed Holy Well and up towards the beacon. There is something incredibly peaceful and almost sacred about the surrounding area, and it made the whole stay feel even more special.
One of those lovely little moments that will stay with us was sitting having breakfast on Sunday morning and hearing the church bells ringing from the church next door. It was so peaceful and atmospheric and just added to the charm of the place.
You’re also within easy reach of Penzance, Mousehole, Sennen and Land’s End, so it’s a fantastic base for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. Although honestly, the retreat itself was so peaceful and beautiful that we hardly wanted to leave!
This was genuine five-star treatment. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so well looked after or so spoiled during a stay. We came away feeling completely relaxed and incredibly grateful for such a wonderful weekend.

We have just returned from a four night stay at Sancreed House and had the most wonderful time. I was introduced to the B&B by a friend and was impressed by the professional and detailed website. When I spoke to Pablo on the phone to discuss our booking I immediately felt the warmth of the welcome.
The house is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed the shared sitting and dining room space. We booked Sancreed Suite which has it's own sitting room - a tranquil space to come back to after a busy day out and about.
We loved the morning swim in the pool, walks around the fabulous garden with stunning views across the fields, delicious breakfasts and our wonderful hosts - nothing was too much trouble and they indeed went over and above to make sure we had everything we wanted.
